Most of Team TC started their indoor season with a bang today, a few even ran personal bests in their first races so it was a good day in the office!There were two competitions – The Metaswitch Games at Lee Valley and Sutton Arena’s open meet. Everyone had two rounds of 60m races and the results are listed below:
Lee Valley Metaswitch Games:
Reece Bowers (Senior men): 7.17, 7.19
Cyle Carty (Senior men): 6.75, 6.70
Lee McLaughlin (Senior men): 7.02, 7.00
Alex Murdock (Senior men): 6.98, 6.92
Zanson Plummer (Under 17 men): 7.02, 6.98
Leroy Slue (Senior men): 7.02, 6.93
Sutton Arena Open Meet:
Julien Allwood (Under 23 men): 7.16, 7.17
Tom Kennedy (Senior men): 7.06
Emma Wakrim (Under 23 women): 7.94, 7.93
A few of the guys have even run fast enough to qualify for the European trials in Feb – sooo all in all a good day in the office for Team TC. We’re all looking forward to the next competition on the list, which is South of England’s, where hopefully a few of us can pick up some medals! Two weeks to prepare, looking forward to seeing some serious fireworks.
